QR Codes on the Taiko Machines.....

Do you guys know what QR codes are?
They appear on the arcade machine when you complete a song, have any of you taken a picture of one?

They look like this:


Are they for high score submitting, or what?
I just got this new cell phone and it can read them, if it's for high scores and stuff, that'd be pretty cool to use.

Eh?? Never seen it in my arcade before though..
But i know that japan phones like the Final Fantasy Cloud phone and most other phones can read this kind of QR codes.
If i'm not wrong, it's something like a bar code that japan use.
It's very popular in japan though.

tt OR coding is for japan mainly.
Japs use that coding thingy for almost EVERYTHING!

but in other places... if u dun have the prog to read it.
its as useless as a taiko machine thats not on.

That kid is pretty good for his age.... I didn't understand what the keitai denwa (cell phone) was showing. Did it say he was #1 or something?

That's impressive, but that's just for the people who have cell phones. He was making a full combo, but he wasn't playing very difficult songs. It would have been cool if he was like FC-ing Saitama or something.

I can't wait until I PASS saitama, it's so crazy, I get like 10 bars on the tamashii meter at the end, not even close.

I just meant Saitama and kitasaitama, both are really hard (Saitama is pretty repetative though, making it easy to memorize). On my DS, Saitama is a 9 star, I can't find my other Taiko game with kitasaitama on it, but I am pretty sure kitasitama is a 10 star.

Hmm.. You can download QR code reader on www.i-nigma.com. It supports most of the phones. It's not bad, I'm using it aswell.
