Seiransai 19 (星蘭祭)

Seems a little too early, but I was informed of this by my school. Details are not as of 100% confirmed but the basic information are out. (Did I spell the title correctly?)

For those who can't read it, I'll briefly translate it a little (pardon me if I do it wrongly) from what I read, heard and experienced.

It'll be held 20th September 2009 (Sunday), 9:30am to 4:30pm at Waseda Shibuya Senior High School. The location is very near West Coast (well, it's at the area there). Admission is FREE.

It's basically a typical Japanese school cultural festival. There will be lots of cultural stuffs going on and the usual practice in Japan, such as Haunted house, Tea ceremony, Cafe, Goldfish (Ball) scooping, Games booth, some mini performances. Typically the cultural stuffs. It's quite a popular event so please be reminded of crowding there.

Credits to ck: Bus 30, 51, 143 will bring you to the school. Bus 189 (Clementi MRT, NOT interchange) will also bring you there.

As again, go in casuals. (No cosplay, sub-cultures or similar and no Yukatas and Yes, no Yukatas) This is not a summer festival thingy.

Yes, buses 30, 51, 143 will get you there.

And 189.

All I know bus 30 is from Boon Lay Interchange via the Taman Jurong/West Coast route.

189 as well, from Bukit Batok Interchange. Also can be taken from Clementi MRT station.

Sad, I'll have to give it a miss this year. Check the calendar to find out why

20 sept.. quite a gud day to go to Singapore. Ahah.. Hope can go there.

Pass I guess, maybe next year... Smack in the middle of my prelims T_T

It is confirmed. I will have to miss this year's seiransai =(

Despite its Hari Raya and I said that I will not be going for this year, I still managed to find myself a bit of time and go down to the Seiransai at around 3pm (nearly closing time), but still I do enjoy meyself a bit there. Managed to take a few pics only though.

U made me sadder that i had to miss it. =( Hahs!

yup i was in traditional clothes so I decided not to join u all at iluma that day


Anyway this year's seiransai seem to be way much better than last year. For those who missed it, better luck next year. And let's see who is able to befriend any student there XD

because no one else wanted to go with me duh~
