I could explain it using incredibly technical terms, but the gist of it is a "wraparound" (I'm not sure how to put it in English) whereby you reach the end and then go back to the start. The first day in 1970 is generally considered the "first day".

It's the system configuration under the forum provider and can't change anything to "sensible" or not. Lolz..
Besides, i doubt it's there now. =p
