Taiko Messenger
Hi, this is just a suggestion, but anyone ever thought of Taiko-Dojo Messenger?
In Facebook, there is a Facebook Messenger so that those who are online on Facebook can chat with one another directly (IM).
If we can apply that here, those who are online at the forum can directly chat with one another.
What do you guys think? w

Re: Taiko Messenger
I think technically it's not possible to implement in this forum. A shoutbox might be possible, though.

Re: Taiko Messenger
because this forum is hosted by a forum provider, not created by the admin or anything, so major changes like this aren't likely to be possible at all as only certain changes are allowed to be made to the forum, (like graphics, subcategories and categories, images and smilies, simple yes/no features.) other than that it's probably not modifiable.
Re: Taiko Messenger
If those can be done, you think it'll be as empty and as it is now? xD

Why not just start an irc channel? You can use gogloom.com for people who don't have an irc client installed on their computer. IRC chat also allows you to talk one on one with another user. It may be primitive technology but it's reliable.
Or how about flashchat? It has similar moderation commands as irc and provides a more visually appealing interface to any users using it.
